BCS Professional examinations consist of three levels as given below:

  • Certificate Level
  • Diploma Level
  • Professional Graduate Diploma Level
At certificate level the student studies for three compulsory subjects, at diploma levelĀ  the student has to do four subjects where one subject is compulsory and with three other optional subjects. The Professional Graduate Diploma Level also has several subjects where the candidate has to do four subjects, all being optional.

In addition to the three levels the candidate will be required to develop associated projects with employers to meet the demands evolving needs of the IT community.

At the completion of all the three stages and the project this professional examination is finally equivalent to a UK honours degree in IT. There are several universities in UK and around the world which are accepting BCS as an entry for pursuing their Masters program.
